Young Communicators Committee (YCC’s) host CPR training for local community members

By way of context, people may remember the YCC’s launched the first public access defibrillator in Dublin 17 back in November of last year.  This was a very proud achievement for the group and as part of this initiative, they made a commitment to host a training event for local community members to learn CPR skills and automated external defibrillator (AED) use.

They honoured that commitment today and they are thrilled with the level of interest, uptake and support from the community. Special thanks to Liam, our National Ambulance Service (NAS) community engagement officer who was our fantastic instructor today

24 members of the community successfully trained up in CPR and AED use
