Discovery CTC, Darndale, entered the Generation Apprenticeship recently where learners had to produce a 3D letter A using recycled materials from their section. This competition had 157 entries from Youthreachs and Secondary Schools nationwide.
There were 13 finalists including the three Discovery centre entries. The final showcase in the Lighthouse cinema was cancelled because of Covid19, so instead the finalists were asked to engage in a further task and nominate a local hero during this crisis.
