Homelessness is an issue that pulls at all our heart strings and none more so than those of our socially conscious Happy Choppers group. This group decided to do something about it! They have been working hard at advertising, fundraising, shopping, creating and designing presents for Homeless people and their pets over the past few months.The girls feel strongly about the issue and through their work (and a shopping trip to Newry!) they succeeded in brining in 21 Gift Shoe Boxes to the Homeless Shoe Box Appeal at Connolly LUAS stop on December 8th. They even prepared Shoe Boxes for pets of Homeless people not to leave anyone out. Their efforts are definitely going to a great cause and they should feel very proud. Congrats Ladies!
