March saw the making of 2 films in Sphere 17. Our weekly Film Club began plotting their horror story line which will be filmed over 2 days - the 7th and 8th April. A Young Womens Group which takes place on a Monday has been filming a documentary titled "A Day in the Life of a Traveller". Both have been great fun to be involved in and we are looking forward to seeing the final cut!

The Animal Welfare program came to an end in Darndale with a trip to the Dublin Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on the 19th March. Throughout the year, Darndale has worked with the three sixth class from Our Lady Immaculate School. We looked at "all things relating to looking after our four legged friends" and all involved said it was"deadly" and they "learned loads of new things". This time around we focused alot on Horse Welfare and the Smithfield Horse Market. Many young people in Darndale have and love horses - but if we dont know how to look after them properly - its the poor horse that suffers. If anybody would like to know more about the program or have any questions about your pets - pop into Tara in Darndale!

March 29th saw the beginning of our Easter Events. Many activities took place across the week and across the Dublin 17 region including Easter Art, Pamper Evening, Football, Hip Hop, Cinema trip, Dogs Trust Visit, Bowling, Streetwork, Drop Ins, Slippy Slide and Pool competitions.
