Last weekend some of our young people and youth workers attended a training seminar at the Irish cancer society where we received a cheque for €1,100 for being successful in getting through to the X-Hale Youth Awards which is funded by the Irish cancer society and aims to increase the awareness of smoking and its impact among young people.Young people from Sphere 17 are planning on making a funky DVD to help get this message across.Well done to Angela Rock and Danielle Baker who did Sphere 17 proud over the weekend.
