“THIS LIFE” Exhibition Nov 12th 2009

Sphere 17’s annual exhibition of Arts is now in its second year, showcasing painting, drawing, pottery, mask-making, embroidery and dance from the young people of Dublin 17. The exhibition was titled “THIS LIFE” and was opened by “The Belcamp Babes” performing their self choreographed dance routine.

Well done to all that took part and look out for next year’s exhibition in the autumn.

SYPS Programme November 2009

The first SYPS (Supporting Young People in Schools) programme of the new academic year has successfully finished. This programme ran from the 16th November through to the 4th December. All five participants completed the programme. It was a tough three weeks for all involved but everyone made it to the finish line. The highlights were the ‘Pushing My Buttons’ exercises and the leader’s beating the Young People at Bowling & Quazar!

Sphere 17 would like to thank Fr Terry for presenting the certificates and to all the parents and teachers for their support throughout the course. We look forward to the next SYPS programme in February 2010.
