The Listen Project was formally launched by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Naoise Ó Muirí on Friday, June 7th, in Sphere 17 Regional Youth Facility, Darndale.

The event was marked by the attendance of the Lord
Mayor, as well as Aodhan O'Riordain TD, Dublin City Councillors Larry O'Toole, Brian McDowell and Paddy Bourke, as well as young people and friends.

The Listen Project provides a safe space for young people 12 - 17
years to talk, explore and be heard on any issue(s) they are concerned about, and to receive meaningful support from a qualified counsellor.

Counselling, the New Life Centre and Sphere 17 Regional Youth Service, and is funded by Pobal.

The Lord Mayor also presented two young people - Katie Heffernan and Jessica Caffrey with a €200 cash prize for their winning entry to the Listen Project Video Clip competition. Well done Katie and Jessica!
