On Sunday 22nd of August, 11 young people from Sphere 17 took part in the “Big Bang” drumming festival which saw 100 drummers and drumming groups from all over Ireland and beyond converge on Meeting House Square in Temple Bar.

This included young people from other Youth Services across Dublin. The young people had worked very hard to get this far and had attended four workshops where they learnt some drumming “calls” and the different aspects of drumming.

The young people of Sphere 17 did the service proud on the day bringing “the house down” as they performed live on stage in front of 400 people .Young people had a fantastic time and are looking to sign up again for next year. Well done to all who took part.
